Mitchell Veterinary Clinic is proud to serve the El Dorado Springs area since 1995. Our veterinary clinic is run by licensed, experienced veterinarian(s) caring for companion animals and large animals alike.
Our entire team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep their pets healthy year round, with good nutrition, parasite prevention, wellness planning and exercise. Mitchell Veterinary Clinic stays on top of the latest advances in veterinary technology and above all, knows that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.

Dr. Bryan L. Mitchell, DVM
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Bryan Mitchell graduate from MU college of Veterinary Medicine, Magna Cum Laude, in 1991. Following graduation he worked at a mixed animal veterinary practice in Monett, Missouri for four years before moving to El Dorado Springs. In 1995 he opened Mitchell Veterinary Clinic in a small building south of town and then relocated to the current location on East Highway 54 in 1999. Bryan and wife, Kristen have four children; Matt (Elise) and three grand kids; Mollie (Rusty); and two younger children, Morgan and Maverick. Dr. Mitchell and family live on a farm where he has cattle and two pets, Bella and Kitty. He values family and all aspects of family life. He supports the local school system and is an avid El Dorado Springs Bulldog fan. Dr. Mitchell has found El Dorado Springs to be a great place to be a veterinarian and a wonderful place to raise a family.

My name is Kelly. I have worked at Mitchell Veterinary Clinic for 19 years. My husband, Ed, and I have 3 kids, 9 grandkids, and 3 great grandkids. We raise cattle, horses, and corgis. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and riding horses. The best part about my job is that I get to fulfill my personal passion of working with animals and helping people be the very best pet owner possible. I enjoy helping Dr. Bryan with farm calls for horses and cattle. Being a part of Mitchell Veterinary Clinic is a source of pride because I know that the quality of care that goes into every appointment is the best possible.
My name is Naomi, I have worked at Mitchell veterinary clinic for over 5 years. I love helping clients and their furry friends! I am a wife and a mom of 4 awesome girls. We have 5 cats: Twister, Clementine, Nelo, Flaire and Java Bean! When I am not at work, I love to bake and spend time with family.
My name is Megan, I have worked at Mitchell Vet clinic for 2 years. I have over 8 years of experience in the veterinary assistant field. I love helping our clients and their four legged family members. I am married to Zachary Whitaker and we have a son who is a toddler named Rhett. When I’m out of work, I enjoy archery shoots, gardening, swimming, and most of all family time with our little man. My favorite part about working at MVC is I get to help our clients have a positive and enjoyable experience. I know that each day I come to work I will get to have a new adventure and meet new furry friends.
I am Blayze. I graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 2023. I work with Dr. Bryan as a Pre Vet-Med Intern. In the fall of 2023, I plan on attending K-State to get my DVM degree. My family and I are avid horse owners and we have over 40 head of horses. I look forward to someday returning home to help my hometown with their pets and farm animals. I have two younger siblings and enjoy learning about vet medicine with Dr. Bryan.
Going out with Dr. Bryan on farm visits and observing in the operating room are always an incredible experiences. I am honored that Dr Bryan takes the time to mentor me considering the heavy work load he has each week. I am proud to be a part of the work that he does because he really cares about each client and their needs. He is one of the most knowledgeable DVM's I know and I look forward to continue working with him.
